Changed By COVID: Veterans’ Benefits Impacted By A Global Pandemic (Webinar)
COVID-19 has not spared Veterans' Law in imposing sweeping challenges and creating sweeping changes. From appellate advocacy before the United States Department of Veterans Affairs to non-service-connected pension cases for low-income Veterans and their families, from CARES Act implications to benefits for survivors of Veterans whose death resulted from COVID-19, the Veterans' Law landscape today is far different than it was only a few months ago. This program highlights these changes, provides strategies for attorneys serving Veterans and their families amid these daunting times, and offers plenty of pathways for lawyers to engage in service to the people who have served in this nation's Armed Forces.
