Environmental And Energy Law Section Legislative Forum: ANNIVERSARIES AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN THE AGE OF COVID-19
Environmental Law: Anniversaries and Accomplishments in the age of COVID-19
2020 is a year to reflect upon environmental accomplishments and anniversaries in a New York state that finds itself at the center of a pandemic crisis. Join with the Environmental and Energy Section on our 40th Anniversary as we discuss the 50th Anniversaries of both Earth Day and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. We will be joined by Senate and Assembly leaders who will discuss current legislative accomplishments and priorities, and share their observations on key environmental issues facing New York. Our Keynote speaker, the Commissioner of DEC, will discuss leading this important and historic agency in meeting environmental obligations and challenges, past, present, and future.
We will commemorate these milestones virtually this year by remaining #nystrong with our friends and colleagues via webinar. The May 13th event will allow us to bring our Annual Legislative Forum far beyond its traditional venue in the State Capital to all regions of New York simultaneously and presents an unparalleled opportunity to connect state government leaders and practitioners.
