Estate Litigation: 1404 Examinations And Contested Accountings
This program will provide aspiring or experienced estate planners and litigators with insight into SCPA 1404 examinations in probate proceedings, and contested accountings in the Surrogate’s Court. Surrogate’s Court practitioners will discuss the applicable law and practical techniques for handling both SCPA 1404 and SCPA 2211 examinations and attendant document discovery. Speakers will also cover the law applicable to contested accounting proceedings, and discuss important practical considerations, from the compulsory accounting petition to trial.
