Fundamentals of Adult Care Facilities and Assisted Living in New York
This program will provide an overview of assisted living and other types of adult care facilities in New York, and how they differ from and in what ways they are similar to nursing homes. We will discuss how these facilities are funded and regulated, and the essentials of residents’ rights and New York State’s oversight of these facilities.
