Health Law For Veterans
COVID-19 has shown us that access to healthcare is more important than ever. Veterans have the unique ability to leverage medical care through the Veterans Health Administration of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. Too often, however, Veterans confront barriers in attaining this access to medical care. This discussion focuses on legal strategies and pathways to advocate for Veterans seeking access to medical care through the VA, ranging from services for Veterans with a less-than-honorable discharge to an important set of new laws focusing on improving healthcare services for women Veterans.
