Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) and Generative AI (“GenAI”) are becoming – or already are – common features in civil and criminal litigation in New York courts. The use of these technologies will surely increase as attorneys and pro se parties see the benefits of that use. However, AI and GenAI use can also pose risks.
