The International Section's NYC Summer Conference will consist of two days of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) panels and plenaries, including a Diversity & Inclusion Plenary, Ukraine Plenary, an ESG Forum, and various other hot topics in international transactions and litigation/dispute resolution. This year’s meeting also offers a special Diplomatic Community Reception, held in collaboration with the NYC Mayor’s Office of International Affairs, as well as a plenary keynote with SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce. The meeting offers networking opportunities in the form of extended breaks, luncheons, a President’s reception followed by a welcome dinner.

The 2022 New York City Summer Conference will be held at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel from June 21-22, 2022. The deadline to submit hotel reservations at the conference rate is Monday, May 23, 2022. Availability of rooms is only guaranteed up to the cut-off date and reservations received after the above date are accepted on a space and rate availability basis and cannot be guaranteed at the conference rate.

- Wednesday Closing Reception with the Diplomatic Community: Business Attire or Semi-Formal (ex. cocktail dresses and suits are appropriate)
Discounts and Scholarships: New York State Bar Association (“NYSBA”) members and non-members may receive financial aid to attend this program. Under this policy, anyone who requires financial aid may apply in writing, not later than 20 working days prior to the start of the program, explaining the basis of his/her hardship, and if approved, can receive a discount or scholarship, depending on the circumstances. Scholarships are for the CLE portion of the program only and not evening and social functions.

COVID-19 Travel Information:
- You must be vaccinated for COVID-19 to attend a NYSBA meeting, program, or event
- Starting on December 6, 2021 air travelers aged two and older, regardless of nationality or vaccination status, are required to show documentation of a negative viral test result taken within one day of the flight’s departure to the United States before boarding. You must show your negative result to the airline before you board your flight. That includes all travelers – U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents (LPRs), and foreign nationals.
