The world of Litigation Finance is completely different than a decade ago. It is here to stay and a useful tool for Bankruptcy Trustees and Receivers as well as Debtors and Credits. We are living in a financial environment of post record-sustained interest rate lows, substantial stimulus legislation, and now volatility and rate increases. How have these various external and macroeconomic changes impacted insolvency and how Litigation Funding is being utilized. 

This panel will explore the basics of Litigation Finance, Disclosures, the multiple uses, and recent decisions impacting this industry.  We will do so with several perspectives in mind—that of the funding provider, the fiduciary, the attorney, the litigants, the due diligence professionals, and the court.
