Navigating Environmental Issues in Complex Commercial Transactions

Environmental risks and considerations must be accounted for in transactions involving the sale or acquisition of companies that conduct industrial operations. During this program, a panel of experienced environmental attorneys will walk the attendees through the hypothetical sale and acquisition of a chemical manufacturing company. The panelists will discuss this transaction through the lens of the Buyer, Seller, Lender, and Representation and Warranty Insurer, and will offer their own unique perspectives on due diligence practices, common environmental liability concerns, and effective strategies to ensure that their clients are appropriately informed and protected when navigating a transaction with environmental risks.
