Join Us for a Game-Changing CLE on New York’s New Virtual Court Appearance Platform – VCAP!  Get ready to dive into the future of virtual court proceedings. This virtual CLE event will showcase New York's upcoming Virtual Court Appearance Platform (VCAP), set to replace Microsoft Teams with a platform designed specifically for the courts.

Judges, attorneys, and technology representatives from New York’s Court Modernization Action Committee (CMAC) will discuss VCAP’s enhanced features, tailored layouts for different court types, and consistent user experience across the board. The program will include a review of the CMAC-sponsored best practices for virtual appearances ‘bench card’, outlining how to conduct virtual proceedings and the types of cases and appearance that benefit the most from them. Benefits to attorneys and the public will be discussed and demonstrated.
