Retirement Life Planning After COVID-19: Where Are You And Your Practice Heading?

2020 was a dreadful year in so many ways. In the face of the pain, economic and personal losses and carnage of the pandemic, for many there was a silver lining. COVID gave us the opportunity to consider our futures and weigh our personal and professional priorities. Now, 2021 has finally arrived, bringing with it vaccines and hope, as well as thoughts of renewal and optimism for new opportunities and possibilities.

COVID also brought a veritable tsunami of thoughts of retirement and down-sizing among the baby boomer and beyond population. Attorneys are no exception.  Are you now considering your next steps – pondering retirement or down-sizing, wondering whether to stay the course? Are you thinking about, but having difficulty envisioning, a productive, meaningful life in seniority? Perhaps now is the time to focus on those questions and ideas and give some thought and attention to resolving them.

This program is designed to do just that – to give 50+ attorneys an opportunity to think about their futures and provide tools and questions to assist in picturing their personal and professional lives after COVID. With that insight you will be better prepared to formulate a plan to achieve your objectives and have the senior life you want and deserve.

About the Speaker:

     Rosemary C. Byrne is a lawyer, turned life coach, and founder of Step by Step Coaching. She received her law degree with honors from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and began her legal career as a law clerk in the Southern District of New York. Following her clerkship, she was a litigation associate at a major New York firm and thereafter transitioned to investment banking, corporate law and finance for a privately held investment bank where she served as General Counsel for over two decades.

      Now an NYU trained and certified life & personal coach and a certified retirement coach, Rosemary is skilled in assisting others to navigate career and life changes. She specializes in coaching baby boomer attorneys and other professionals seeking to create a new work, life, leisure balance or make career changes as they approach the next chapters of their life journey. She is a frequent speaker at seminars on retirement/senior life planning and career transition. A co-author of No Winner Ever Got There Without A Coach, her article “Planning for Seniority: A Baby Boomer’s Playbook” appeared in Experience magazine, published by the ABA.
