Sex Trafficking in New York: How to Prosecute the Offenders and Aid the Survivors

Sex Trafficking in New York_675

There are several laws in New York, on both the federal and state level, that can be effectively used to prosecute those who force people into sex trafficking. Significantly, New York also has many available laws and programs to empower survivors of sex trafficking to break away from their trafficker and lead a free and productive life. This CLE, led by three outstanding attorneys with years of experience prosecuting sex traffickers and aiding survivors, will discuss these laws and programs, and how attorneys in private practice can be involved in this effort.
