Supreme Court Update 2026: Another Year of Momentous Decisions and (Re)Defined Constitutional Principles

Professor Bonventre will deliver his annual Supreme Court update. As customary, he will survey the term’s major decisions and examine the ideological and jurisprudential patterns in the voting of the individual Justices and in the decisional direction of the Court as a whole. Additionally, he will explore emerging profiles within the Court’s partisan divide—regarding both the “swing” Justices and those that are most staunchly ideological or partisan.
