Workers’ Compensation Liens and Credits
The program will cover the circumstances in which a workers’ compensation carrier’s consent is required, items that are properly included in the carrier’s lien, the plaintiff’s right to lien reduction under the Court of Appeals decisions in Kelly, Burns and Bissell, the compensation carrier’s credit rights, coordination between personal injury and workers’ compensation counsel, and consideration of Medicare Set-Aside requirements in the context of workers’ compensation lien and credit resolution.
There will be a 5-minute break during the program.
