Zoom Etiquette: A Guide For Law Students Post-Grad
Zoom meetings. Court proceedings via Teams. Classes on virtual platforms because of inclement weather. Interviewing virtually. These are all becoming a staple in the day-to-day lives of lawyers and law students – and show no signs of going away, even as many employers welcome workers back to their offices. There are both challenges and benefits to using video conferencing platforms in the legal profession. One of the challenges is that the rules we need to follow during virtual meetings are often different – even if only slightly – than those followed in person. Join us for a discussion of the business etiquette that will help you put your best self forward in meetings, hearings, court appearances and more.
