SEC Priorities

Christina Thomas and Nick Losurdo recently served together at the SEC as senior advisors to Commissioner Elad L. Roisman. They focused on policy, rulemaking, and enforcement related to, among other things, capital formation, issuer disclosure, proxy voting, Regulation NMS and equity market structure, broker-dealer and investment adviser standards of conduct, and new and complex asset classes (including digital asset securities). They will discuss what we can expect from the SEC during the Biden administration, including rulemaking, enforcement focus areas, and exam priorities.
