The Global Reach of the DOJ: Investigative Tools and Statutes
The U.S. Department of Justice has tremendous investigative tools at its disposal to prosecute wrongdoing across the world. Aside from these investigative tools, U.S. prosecutors can also make use of criminal statutes that courts have often interpreted to permit expansive extraterritorial application. This program will be composed of both current and former federal prosecutors, and participants will learn helpful skills in navigating the world of cross-border investigations.
