An eclectic range of legal minds — including some familiar names in the Capital Region — were selected for a New York State Bar Association task force to combat a surge in hate crimes and domestic terrorism.
The panel assembled by New York State Bar Association President Hank Greenberg will be chaired by Carrie Cohen, a former assistant U.S. attorney in Manhattan who successfully prosecuted the first federal corruption trial of former Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver in 2015.
