Regulation of Social Media and Online Content

Recent efforts by the federal government and various state legislatures (including New York) to regulate social media and online content (e.g., by imposing controls on so-called "content moderation" policies and practices, and by requiring certain disclosures and reports to be made in the interest of "transparency"), have faced First Amendment and other challenges. Our speakers are directly involved with relevant federal court litigation en route to the U.S. Supreme Court and likely to have large implications for anyone involved with content creation and distribution.
