We’ll be offering three distinct programs: Diversity; ADR/Fine Arts; Sports and Covid-19.
- Diversity-Writing Wrongs: Promoting Diversity and Inclusion in Book Publishing – the first panel will address promoting diversity and inclusion in book publishing – and will provide industry background, working in publishing, and cultivating new readers and writers from the perspectives of those in the industry (including two best-selling authors). The second panel will examine the role of in-house (including general counsel of major publishing houses) and outside counsel in dealing with systemic bias and other impediments that have permitted racial inequality and injustice to continue in book publishing, and will seek to present specific, recommended actions that can be taken going forward.
- ADR/Fine Arts- A 2 panel program that first offers a deep dive on arbitration & mediation, and how it is well-suited for EASL fields
- Sports- Part 2 of The Impact of COVID-19 on Sports: A Legal Perspective re: the uncertain path forward and potential long term impact of the pandemic on world sports
