Business Law Section Fellowship Program

The goal of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) Business Law Section (BLS) Fellowship Program (“the Program”) is to create a network and forge relationships which will foster greater diversity in law firms throughout New York State. Through the Program, Fellows will be provided a meaningful and appropriately supervised work experience by host law firms working in partnership with the NYSBA Business Law Section’s Diversity Committee.

Fellows will be placed at a law firm based in New York State for a ten-week Fellowship (maximum 40 hours per week).

The Diversity Committee will have an orientation meeting for the Fellows prior to the start of the Fellowship, periodic check-ins during the summer, and a wrap-up meeting at the conclusion of the Fellowship.
