New York State Attorney General Letitia James will deliver the keynote address and receive an award for her leadership and commitment to advancing access to justice for all New Yorkers by the New York State Bar Association’s (NYSBA) President’s Committee on Access to Justice (PCAJ) on Thursday, Jan. 21 at the 2021 NYSBA Annual Meeting.
Named in honor of Kay Crawford Murray, this award honors an individual, who in the spirit of Ms. Murray, recognizes the value of diversity in the legal profession and is committed to advancing attorneys who are women. Murray, who passed away in 2018, was the first recipient of the award in 2008.
The award recognizes those who have made a major contribution to international peace, global understanding, and democracy. UNODA will receive the award on Jan. 27 during NYSBA’s Annual Meeting.
