Mission Statement

The Committee on Resolutions (“Committee”) shall consider all resolutions transmitted to it pursuant to Bylaw Article XII § 5. It shall have discretion to report any such resolution for the consideration of the Association in its original or in amended form, or to take no action thereon. In the latter event, the secretary shall refer the resolution to an appropriate committee for future consideration.

The Committee also shall determine the implementation of recommendations contained in reports that have been adopted by the Executive Committee and/or House of Delegates. The Committee shall issue its recommendations for implementation to the Executive Committee. The Committee shall communicate approved recommendations to appropriate sections, committees, and other entities for action. The Committee shall monitor and report periodically to the Executive Committee on the status of implementation.
