The mission of this Committee is to explore, understand and advance the equity of women in the law. The Committee examines issues that may be delaying or derailing the advancement of women in the legal profession due to gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age or disability. Our activities include programming, research, reports and collaborative discussions with our NYSBA colleagues, law firms, corporations, the public sector, and outside bar associations. We seek to promote scholarship, recognition, networking and engagement to advance equitable access to leadership positions for women in the legal profession.
