Admission to Practice: Comparing Scotland and New York
This program will cover what steps must be taken to become qualified as a Solicitor or Advocate in Scotland and to become admitted to practice in New York. Emphasis will be placed on how to cross qualify in both jurisdictions or admission to practice in one jurisdiction with a law degree from the other. Attendees will come away with a very basic understanding of both legal systems and how they differ.
