Please join the New York State Bar Association’s Women in Law Section for a virtual conversation with Kathleen Rice, United States Representative for New York's 4th Congressional District. For only the 3rd time in U.S. history, we’re heading into a presidential election with a female Vice Presidential candidate included on a major party ticket, and the first time a woman of color has been included. Terri Mazur, Chair of the Women in Law Section, will moderate the discussion with Congresswoman Rice about her own experiences campaigning and as a Member of Congress, as well as focus on the challenges confronted by women in politics, the importance of strong women leaders, and the gender and diversity issues Senator Harris will face while campaigning for Vice President of the United States.
