This program will explore estate planning considerations when preparing estate planning documents for the transgender, non-binary, and gender non-confirming people or for families who are providing for individuals in this community. The program will educate program participants on the issues of proper pronoun use in said documents and how to guide clients who may be unfamiliar with the proper pronoun use for members in this community. The program will also discuss counseling techniques to assist attorneys in being inclusive and sensitive to the various issues that may arise when working with individuals or families in this community to foster a sense of inclusion.
