How Technology Will Reimagine the Future of New York Courts

The panel will discuss the mission and the findings of the Pandemic Practices Working Group of the Commission to Reimagine the Future of New York Courts, including addressing Guidelines issued for In-Person, Hybrid, and Virtual Proceedings. The session will also include a demonstration of a brand new virtual oral argument and appearance platform for the New York State Unified Court System (OCA), which should be rolled out to New York State courts in the coming months.

Interactive Demonstration and Discussion of New Virtual Oral Argument Platform for New York State Supreme Courts The Office of Court Administration of the New York State Unified Court System (OCA) is working to debut a customized remote oral argument platform. OCA and the platform developers will join the General Session to present the new platform and provide the Commercial and Federal Litigation and Dispute Resolution Sections the opportunity to engage in the first group beta test of the platform.
