LGBTQ Virtual Coffee Hour
The LGBTQ People and the Law Committee is hosting a Virtual Coffee Hour for law students across New York State on November 17, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. We will discuss the important work the LGBTQ Committee does, including the amicus brief we recently submitted to the United States Supreme Court in the case of Fulton v. City of Philadelphia. We will also address the recent confirmation of Justice Amy Coney Barrett, including what that may mean for future case (including Fulton) and how those rulings may impact the lives of the LGBTQ community. Come learn more about the Committee and the ways you can get involved as a law student, from helping writing briefs, contributing articles to our newsletter, etc…
