Women in Law Section’s Virtual Book Club Meeting:The Empty Kayak by Jodé Millman

NYSBA’s Women in Law Section welcomes back attorney-author Jodé Millman to discuss her latest novel, THE EMPTY KAYAK. This is the third novel in her Queen City Crimes series and follows the award-winning novel THE MIDNIGHT CALL and its sequel, HOOKER AVENUE. In THE EMPTY KAYAK, secrets and deceptions are uncovered as Detective Ebony Jones and Attorney Jessie Martin investigate a suspicious drowning in the murky, majestic Hudson River. But this time, the victim is someone near and dear to them both. Was it an accident, suicide or something more sinister?
