Women Struggling And Sometimes Overcoming (Book Club)

WILS_VirtualBookClub_FEB21_675

Please join the Women in Law Section on Thursday, February 4, 2021, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm Eastern Time for a virtual book club meeting titled "Women Struggling and Sometimes Overcoming."  February's featured novel, "Women in Crisis:  Stories From the Edge," consists of stories about women patients of an accomplished, fictional woman psychiatrist, whose experiences exemplify challenges faced by many women, to varying degrees.  It has a feminist and humanist perspective as many of the conflicts women face are the result of a society which still makes women second class citizens.  "Women in Crisis:  Stories From the Edge" is available for sale in eBook and paperback via this link on Amazon.

We are thrilled to announce that the novel’s author, Susan L. Pollet, will join the meeting to discuss her novel and answer questions from the attendees.  Ms. Pollet has been an attorney for over forty years, primarily in the area of family law.  She is also a published author of three novels, two short stories, and a children's book, entitled "Juliette Rose's Dream of Becoming," featuring famous women, and the positive traits that they embodied and can teach to children, all available on Amazon.  She created each of the book covers, and illustrated the children's book.
