In the Papers

By Pat Kiernan

NY1 featured President Greenberg’s Daily News op ed on its In the Papers segment.

“…from the head of the State Bar Association, Hank Greenberg, discussing a major court battle in New York History: 100 years ago today, five state legislators, suspended by the assembly because they were members of the Socialist Party. They were later defended by Charles Evans Hughes, a former New York Governor and US Supreme Court Justice. Greenberg says Hughes stood up for American principles, even at the risk of harming his political career.”
