The Albany Times Union quoted Criminal Justice Section Chair Robert J. Masters on the upcoming changes to New York’s criminal justice system on Jan. 1. (may require subscription)

And those changes – bail reform and new requirements for the discovery and speedy trial processes – won’t be small. They will impact judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, police officers, court employees, crime victims and the accused.
