It is the simple idea that everyone — from the wealthiest and most powerful to the poorest and most downtrodden — is entitled to equal treatment under the law. Supporting the rule of law has been at the heart of the New York State Bar Association’s (NYSBA) mission since it was founded 144 years ago.
