Case Law Update: U.S. Supreme Court Decision
On June 15, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a landmark decision in three cases holding that discrimination based upon gender identity and sexual orientation is covered under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The ruling will have a broad impact on fairness issues in the workplace, but is also expected to be interpreted to expand civil rights protections in health care, education and housing. This CLE program will review the recent SCOTUS decision and LGBT workplace fairness questions.
