Recent Commercial Division Rules Changes and Application of Rules to Trial Parts
The speakers will discuss the New York State Unified Court System’s February 1, 2021 adoption of thirty of the Commercial Division rules for use in parts outside the Commercial Division. In addition, they will also discuss some recent changes to the Commercial Division Rules, including amendments to Rule 6, which requires filings to be hyperlinked to internal documents and Rule 3(a), which permits the use of Neutral Evaluation, and the adoption of a Rule on Remote Depositions and Virtual Evidentiary Hearings and Non-Jury Trials on Consent.
