Conducting a Virtual Evidentiary Hearing in Arbitration (2020)

ConductingaVirtualEvidentiaryHearinginArbitration_675

There are various reasons why the evidentiary hearing in an arbitration cannot be conducted in person. Travel to a hearing location may not be possible, travel and related expenses may be cost prohibitive, or unforeseen events – such as COVID-19 – may intercede. Conducting an entire evidentiary hearing virtually raises a series of important considerations and challenges. These issues will be addressed by a distinguished panel of experienced commercial arbitrators.
