Invisible Disabilities
Attorneys frequently encounter clients with disabilities that are not immediately apparent. Clients may have hearing or vision loss, traumatic brain injuries, chronic pain, mental illness, cancer, diabetes, or other disabilities which do not readily manifest themselves to the casual observer. What may come off as disinterest to attorneys working with them, may be a deeper issue. The speakers explore the ways to identify invisible disabilities and discuss tools and resources available to attorneys and clients.
