Parentage Proceedings Under the Child Parent Security Act (CPSA)

This program will present a view from the bench (Honorable Thomas Gordon) and bar (Casey Copps DiPaola, Esq.) on the newly enacted CPSA (effective 2/15/21). The CPSA represents a paradigm shift from parentage determined by biology to parentage determined by intent. This CLE will cover the substantive rules for parentage as well as the procedural mechanisms for obtaining parentage orders under the CPSA.
