The Lawyer as Employer (2020)

Like any other workplace, law firms must strive to create a culture of diversity and inclusion. In order to most effectively promote that culture, law firm leaders must be familiar with federal, state and local laws which prohibit discrimination and harassment in the workplace. This program will discuss ways to think about diversity in your firm as well as the current state of the law in an everchanging legal landscape. This program will also address practical steps that every law firm should take to communicate its commitment to diversity and inclusion, the importance of investigating internal complaints and the written policies and training now required under state and local law.
