Veteran’s Treatment Court: Is it Right for Your Client?

Veterans treatment courts are a popular alternative to traditional criminal courts. Despite their prevalence, there are pluses and minuses to this path. This program will discuss the factors that counsel should consider prior to deciding whether to advise their client to enter veterans court. The program offers the perspective of prosecution, defense and participant. Included in the program will be an in depth look at the collateral consequences of a civilian conviction on a military career.
