Virtual Meeting Platforms: Discovery, Evidentiary, Privacy & Cybersecurity

These platforms have settings that enable meetings to be recorded. Under some circumstances, these recordings may be considered business records, or otherwise within the possession, custody, or control of a party, and may be discoverable in litigation and investigations, and subject to production in response to subpoenas. Speakers will discuss the legal significance of the data created by virtual meeting platforms, what lawyers need to know about how they may be used as evidence, and their data privacy and cybersecurity features.
