Why We Need a Domestic Terrorism Law with Frank Figliuzzi | Miranda Warnings

2.22.2021

By Brendan Kennedy

This week on Miranda Warnings, David talks to Frank Figliuzzi, former Assistant Director for Counterintelligence at the FBI and NBC News National Security Analyst about the need for a domestic terrorist law in the wake of the Capitol Insurrection.

Figliuzzi also discusses the intelligence failures in the run-up to that fateful day and how politics may have played a factor in why the Capitol was left unprotected.

He is also the author of the new book The FBI Way: Inside the Bureau’s Code of Excellence and he shares some stories from his FBI days, the FBI’s core values and how James Comey failed to live up to one of Figliuzzi’s “Seven C’s.”
