About Our Section
The Dispute Resolution Section focuses on advocacy in negotiation, mediation and arbitration and the work of neutrals. We foster the court Presumptive ADR program, and promote the careers and advancement of neutrals We have trainings and CLEs, a robust world-class journal and a group of very active and generous members and leaders. We truly support one another. We have been pioneers of change in provision of online services. The concept of “alternative” dispute resolution is a misnomer, more than 90% of disputes are resolved outside of the court system. This is where the action and opportunity reside.
