Challenges and Opportunities in Financing Energy Improvements in Multifamily Buildings
With the passage of Local Law 97 and other climate change legislation, multifamily building owners (including co-op and condo boards) are going to be responsible for making significant capital improvements to their buildings to increase energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. One of the major challenges will be paying for all of this work. This panel will discuss strategies and funding resources which will help attorneys assist buildings in finding financing solutions for this work.
