Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in the Legal Profession: Understanding the Whys and Hows from a 360° Perspective
This program will address the concept of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) as it relates to the practice of law with a particular focus on the concept of inclusion within law firms. This program, given from the perspective of a black attorney who identifies as a woman, will discuss what it means to create an inclusive law firm, the reasons behind having and fostering an inclusive legal organization, and will offer best practices, strategies, and practical ways to generate an inclusive legal organization.
