Excellence In Compliance And U.S. Law
Cross-national law analysis has become an integral part of compliance: The scope of U.S. law is broad and consequences are far reaching. If a company violates U.S. law, it not only faces steep penalties and even steeper damages, but, in the worst case, its employees may face imprisonment. Moreover, the American authorities are much better placed to collect evidence than their counterparts in Switzerland.
The New York Bar Association (NYSBA) is familiar with the hot topics and other areas of U.S. law that can be a problem for Swiss companies. At the “Excellence in Compliance” seminar, highly experienced NYSBA members will share their best practices and give practical advice.
