Theme: The World of Digital Assets: What Happened? What Will Happen? And Why It Matters

Description:

This program will explore the legal and practical issues involved in the digital assets area, and will consist of two programs. The first will present expert practitioners from multiple jurisdictions who will address how each is regulating digital assets, and what the obstacles in each jurisdiction might be.

The second program features a well-known crypto journalist and former high-ranking state department staffer and a former general counsel at a crypto company and currently a managing director at FTI, a major consulting firm offering regulatory guidance, risk management, compliance, litigation, and strategic technical consulting for industry participants. They will participate in a guided discussion of future prospects for the industry, and help identify potential opportunities and pitfalls.
