Focusing on common motion and motion-related errors that happen in civil cases, the faculty will offer tips on how to first of all avoid them, and also how to overcome them. We will discuss the differences between motions to re-argue and renew, the details in threshold motions, and how to use CPLR 2001 and CPLR 2005 to your advantage.
