Learn about the statutory requirements in New York and what can be included in the POA form. Understand key considerations in the modification section. This session will present the New York State Bar Association's model form and review drafting tips and cautions on its use and execution. The presenter will introduce the new concept of sanctions to be imposed on financial institutions and public entities which fail to accept the approved NY Statutory POA form. Presenters will take you step-by-step through the NYSBA automated form.
